Overview:
Elijah Taylor is a 6'8 power forward from Philadelphia Pennsylvania, he is the highest ranked recruit in Notre Dame's 2020 recruiting class and he is a three star recruit. Taylor is known for his athleticism and his heart on the court, he may not be a high volume scorer but he still has great value because of his athleticism. Mike Brey compares him to Ty Nash and Bonzie Colson. He has offers from other big programs like Virginia Tech, Dayton, Penn State, and Georgia.

Q: Why Did you choose Notre Dame?
A: “I chose Notre Dame because it fit my personal description, it has both sides of the coin. It gives me both an opportunity to excel in the classroom and an opportunity to excel on the floor.”
Q: If you could describe your game to ND fans what would you say?
A: If I could describe my game to ND fans..I would describe it as me being a physical spark. You will see that kid plays with his heart and soul on the floor.
Q: And is there a different feeling playing in high school after you commit?
A: There isn’t necessarily a different feeling. Some seniors fall victim to growing content after committing. Even I did to an extent. I guess it would change how people targeted you, or their outlook about you.
